Sugar - Holeshot Blues (Digital Download)

Gritty, soulful, and impossible to sit still to — Sugar is Holeshot Blues doing what they do best. This blues track earned its spotlight with a feature in Season 1 of the hit show On My Block, bringing its smoky guitar tone and raw vocal energy to a whole new audience.

Built on classic blues bones with a modern edge, Sugar is the kind of track that sounds just as good rolling down the highway as it does on a late-night playlist. If you caught it on screen and wanted more, this is where it lives.

LYRICS:

You're sweet like sugar baby
I said lord you’re smooth like silk
You're sweet like sugar baby
Said lord you’re smooth like silk

I said ain't but one thang wrong, with you
Is you don't come around, when we want ya to

I say you're all over town, baby
And you just want to hang with your friends
I say you're all over town, sugar
You just want to hang around with him

I said ain't but one thing wrong, mmm hmm with you
Is you don't come around when we want ya to

Tell me, little girl, tell me where you gonna sleep tonight
I said tell me, sugar, tell me where you’re gonna sleep tonight
Cause ain't but one thing wrong with you
Is you don't come around
You don't come around
When I want ya to
